Sara Asnaghi is a young Milan-based artist and designer. Among her works there’s an intriguing series of sculptures called “What have you got in your head?”; basically Sara sculpted shapes of human brains using edible items and food, from barley to chilli, to candies, rice, bread and more…
The main concept of these sculptures is showing how many of us often have one and only one thing in our minds: food. And, on a deeper level, it’s a new perspective on the idea of “food for thought”.
Enjoy the nine life-size human brains made from different foods here.
