L’Orso is a young band based in the area between Ivrea and Milan. In a short time it managed to be noticed with its songs mixing pop, Italian singer-songwriter tradition and British folk rock.

After a song in a compilation and a self produced ep called L’adolescente, L’Orso played many gigs and found the time to record a second ep: La provincia (out on Garrincha Dischi).

Below you can listen to and download the song “Ottobre come settembre”, one of their favourites coming from the first ep. It’s a manifesto of the band’s talent: a simple song, striking and not banal at all.
