When Dario (drums and vocals, formerly in Blank Dirt) and Giovanni (synth and backing vocals, ex Black Eyed Susan) met, during the spring of 2005, Don Turbolento was born.

This ultra hip duo plays indie pop, with a nice tinge of disco-punk/dancefloor oriented sound: highly danceable Seventies beats with typical Eighties synths spilling melodies and catchy riffs like there’s no tomorrow.
After a self produced EP Spend The Night On The Floor (released in July of 2007), the self titled album came out in 2008. Don Turbolento supported it with a tour and then, after a collaboration with Can’s singer Damo Suzuki, the band published the second full length: Attack! (2011).
