We are Nena And The Superyeahs (NATS) and we would like to let you know about our way of being independent. It is all summarized in the file we have attached: a music video titled “Punk Mission”.

“Punk Mission” is a single taken from Electric Lane: our first album totally self produced and released through Metatron and distributed in Italy by Venus. With “Punk Mission” we aim to express ourselves and the way we behave. Lyrics are very simple “We want Revolution, it’s a Punk Mission,” because the message itself is simple and straightforward.

Since we formed in 2006, we have lived various experiences in the music industry and now our punk mission is clear: we want to make a change in the music industry and we can make it if we ourselves are the revolution. That’s why we started working as a factory, where each member of the band is also a key player in the project which takes advantage of the different skills and passions we have.

Our project is still very young and under evolution but the way we work has brought our album to be released in Scandinavia through a Swedish label and some tracks are gaining exposure in North America: quality, passion, fun and network. In these words there’s our way of being independent and the concept of our video. The main character is a “common man”, but he is the revolution in his little world. His punk mission is to feel alive again and he brings out his “teen spirit” living a wild day. We have worked on this video enlarging our network to a crew of some other independent people: 341 Production. There is a world full of valuable independent people out there and quality, passion and fun will lead our revolution!
