Kaiser Chiefs are ready to (indie) rock

by Independent Staff

The countdown is running fast and the last day will be March, 6, when Kaiser Chiefs will release their new album called Start The Revolution Without Me.

Kaiser Chiefs, after the release of  The Future Is Medieval in June 2011, took five months of hiatus; the musicians recharged their batteries and managed to get back in a positive and creative mood, as frontman Ricky Wilson explained: “You kind of get used to being in a band, and you don’t look forward to things as much as you really should“. And he added: “No one wants to hear people in bands talking about how rubbish their life is when there are a million kids in a million garages across the country who are queueing up to take their place“.

The upcoming album is, actually, a rework (especially assembled for the US market) of The Future Is Medieval, the record released on June and featuring songs chosen by the fans through a selection. It will contain 13 tracks: eight from The Future Is Medieval and five never released before ones.

Here is the complete tracklist:

1. Little Shocks
2. On The Run
3. Heard It Break
4. Kinda Girl You Are
5. Starts With Nothing
6. When All Is Quiet
7. Cousin In The Bronx
8. Things Change
9. Man On Mars
10. Problem Solved
11. Can’t Mind My Own Business
12. Child Of The Jago
13. If You Will Have Me
