Massimiliano Truzzi was born in 1990 and since he was very young he has had a great passion for drawing. When he was 14 a friend showed him a software programme called Maya which allows you to make all those fancy 3D things. Massimiliano was enchanted by this new technology and when Andrew Gordon, a famous Pixar animator, came to Italy for a workshop in 2007, Massimiliano could not miss this opportunity to see how the masters worked with this software. What he found was absolutely not what he was expecting: Andrew Gordon talked about animation, an art form that combines drawing, design, acting, timing, music and technology, and he fell in love with this art form.
This was the beginning of the great passion which inspired him to continue his studies in drawing the following year, with the Summer Drawing Course in Florence, and, when he finished high school in 2009 he joined the great animators community at AnimationMentor, the online animation school.
In August 2011 took a Storyboarding course, and in September he finished his studies at AnimationMentor. Now he’s working on an animation project at TaxFree Film in Italy.
