Glam rock, pub rock, the Seventies, Slade, Sweet, Faces, Cockney Rebel, Bay City Rollers, Marc Bolan… do you get it? If the answer is yes, you definitely should give a listen to Giuda‘s debut album Racey Roller, because it’s like a giant milkshake flavoured with all those ingredients.
Giuda are an Italian band from Rome, born from the ashes of one of Europe’s punk rock finest groups: Taxi. They play the most exciting kind of retro-sounding pub rock and junk shop glam and they have the look of true working class heroes (boots, polos, chequered shirts, leather jackets and short or shaved hair)… actually they are the perfect party band, but with a tough attitude.
They have a couple of singles and an album out and they’re playing all over Europe like there’s no tomorrow. Catch them before they become huge…
